Do you want to help make your community a better place to live and work?

Do you have experience that could benefit your community?

Do you want to represent the views of local people?

Parish Council elections are taking place on the 1st May 2025.

If you would like to make a difference in your community, get involved by standing to

become a Parish Councillor.

The Parish Council is made up of two electoral wards – Broad Hinton (including Uffcott)

and Winterbourne Bassett. Broad Hinton ward has 7 seats and Winterbourne Bassett

has 2.

Some of the existing councillors won’t be standing for re-election so we need some new

councillors to stand.

Further information about the local election process is available on Wiltshire Council’s

website at https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/local-elections. Nominations open on 12th March and close on 2nd April. Candidates need to take their nomination papers in person to Wiltshire Council offices, or our clerk can take them for you.

If you want to find out more contact the clerk, Peter Barry, by email at

clerk@bhwbparishcouncil.org.uk or phone 07860 407585.
